Wild card characters to identify events

When using the Alter Existing Schedule process, I would like to use a wildcard character (such as an *) to search for events. For example, we have people set up separate events for setting up for things such as our Fall Festival, or a Retreat. I want to search for all events that have *set-up* in the name and alter all of them at the same time rather than looking for each one individually. Note: we have two churches, so we often have similarly-named events taking place at each site, so it is not unusual to perform the same update on each of them.

Mary, I apologize for my late reply. I can't offer you a wildcard search, but if you use the Search button on that screen next to the Event Name field it will provide you with a SQL search which is the same as using *text to search*, if that helps out any.

Oh My Gosh!!! That works great! Is that the only spot in the program that has it? My mind is spinning at all the possible times I would use it!

You will also find the same type "Search" button in all of the scheduling processes, and the Delete Events process. We tried to add it every place where you can enter an Event Name and might want to look in the list of event names first. If you find someplace we missed and you would like to see it added, please let me know.
