Online Registration

I'm using the online registration form for Church Office v7.0B. Under Sacraments, if a reply is yes and no date is entered, the yes status does not import into the program under the member sacraments tab. Is it possible to have the yes status imported without a date? Since I had not printed the forms, some of the previous registrations have been imported without that information. Can I retrieve the forms from the program? One last question...on our hard copy registration form we ask permission to print family information in our parish directory. This info is entered under the family keyword. Anyway to include this with the online registration? I have been using the "unlisted" for now.

Lilian, I agree you should be able to import a sacrament status without a date, just like you can manually enter on-screen. Look for this in a future update. PDS-2978

Forms are retained for 90 days. To access them you need to know a special "support" trick.

When you are using the Online Registration process do the following.

1. On the step where you have the options for "Check and Register Families" or "Create Web Registration Form" - look for the text down below that says "Click Next to continue".
2. Just to the left of the words "Click Next..." click with the mouse and you will see a message "For Support" appear.
3. Click Next
4. Choose the 2nd option for "All Forms (Including those already processed)
5. Enter a date (how far back do you want to look) - the system retains data for 90 days

Hope this helps.

Regarding you last request - The system doesn't support posting to the family keywords. This list is used for many items so it would be hard to manage from the forms. I might suggest using a member user defined keyword for this. Create a keyword called Include Fam in Directory with two values in the list [Yes, No]. Then recreate your web form and include this user defined keyword.

The downside to this is the question will appear for each member. I suppose you could edit the .html file to remove this from all but the head of household.

Lilian, look for this correction (posting a sacrament without a date via the online registration process) in the December update.
