I would like to be able to toggle on/off the previous years budget numbers. When entering new budget year, it is very easy to erroneously enter data into the previous year.

Thanks Lisa! That's an interesting idea and I'll bring it up for discussion.

We do have a way to protect prior years' budget figures using user settings. Under Administration > Users & Passwords > Access and Privileges there is a specific privilege for Prior Years' Budgets under Chart of Accounts > Budgets. Set this to View and you'll still be able to edit budgets for the current and future years and see prior years' budgets for reference.

Thank You! I was on the phone with ACST customer service for quite a while and they never told me about this feature. This will work perfectly.

I just tried this and it didn't lock down anything, I was still able to change everything?

For this to work correctly make sure that the Security Method is set to anything other than None. This can be checked by going to Administration > Users & Passwords > Set Security Method.

Also double check that the access level to the main category "Budgets" is set to All. If it is not for some reason change it to All and re-select the individual budgets to lock down.
