When finished scheduling an event there is the option of sending an email confirmation out. however, i would like to see 2 changes.
1, pds chooses the primary email from the organization contact even though there are possibly other emails associated with the contact. I would like to see that before the email is sent, that pds would provide a list of all associated emails with the organization, where i could simply check on or off the emails that I want it sent to. This would include being able to check off the primary.
2 i would like the possibility of manually entering an email address that is not associated with the contact. this could be accomplished by simply leaving a blank window on the previous list i mentioned in number 1.
the reason for this change is from the following example, but I'm sure there are many other similar situations in other churches.
we have a organization called wedding rehearsals, there are 6 women who are part of this group who call to schedule rehearsals. I need to be able to send to them individually a confirmation of their reservation.
one work around is to create a new organization for each individual, however that would soon create a giant unmanageable list of organizations. the current step i take is to have our secretary's email as the primary and then when she receives it in her google account she forwards it to the appropriate person, functional yet time consuming.
you system already has the design to enter multiple contacts with each organization, by making the changes mentioned above i think it will make your software much more appealing and functional.
