Advanced Search for Availability - Scheduling on Consecutive Weeks

We often run ongoing weekly classes, and it is currently very hard to find/filter which facilities are available for consecutive weeks programs. For instance, running a 12-week book study every Monday from 7-9pm within the February1 - May15 timeframe.  And even harder if that book study is every Monday AND Wednesday for 12 consecutive weeks.

Maybe you can tell me if there is another better way to do this, but currently, I am using the "Check Availability" feature and I would like to be able to run a check on a few different rooms with the amenities the group needs (i.e. TV and DVD player or Piano) for a certain timeframe to find a room that has the same day on a few consecutive weeks.

I can kind of do it now, but not easily.  First, the "available dates" list that comes up doesn't have a day of the week listed - just the dates, this makes it extremely hard to find what I need. I find I have to do multiple searches to do this well - either searching each facility individually or searching one specific day of the week individually.  It would be nice to show the day of the week in this list and also to be able to be able to sort by the day of the week right now we can only sort this list by facility or date.

I would love there to be some kind of a checkbox for "consecutive" or button or additional "advanced" search options to be able to check multiple facilities at a time the consecutive weeks.

Adrienne - I do not use the Check Availability because it is not detailed enough.  When checking for availability, I use the Scheduling Wizard.  I basically put in everything I want and then go through the list of conflicts.  Sometimes I can move a conflict and make the new event work--something I would never have seen in the check availability.  By using the Scheduling Wizard and viewing the conflicts, I get a better picture of what is happening and my options.  After viewing all the conflicts and determining the game plan, I cancel the entire thing and go back into Scheduling Wizard to schedule the event.  I found that if I manipulate the Scheduling Wizard too much, the system will be too confused to schedule correctly.  Cancelling and starting over fixes the issue.
